ACI Cargo Logistics, Inc.
The 28.000-pound turbine driving the electricity plant at the most important coal mine in Colombia went out of service recently. The plant is a customer of ACI Cargo Logistics.
ACI Cargo Logistics (Miami office) chartered an Antonov AN-12 freighter to transport a new turbine from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Barranquilla, Colombia. Forty-eight hours after the power outage started, the AN-12 landed in Colombia with the replacement unit.
The same aircraft loaded the broken turbine and transported it to Miami, USA to be repaired at the factory, Trans Canada Turbines in Calgary.
ACI Cargo Logistics made arrangement for a team of drivers with a bonded truck to take the unit to the USA-Canada Border and then deliver it to the plant in Calgary.
Please consider ACI Cargo Logistics for your air and ocean charters in the Americas.
