I hope you’re having a productive week

It was great to see many of you this week for another round of SCN’s “CYBERMEETINGS”. Three very distinct groups from different time bands to show what a diverse group we are and also how diverse the Covid-19 situation is in different parts of the world.

We were fortunate to count on representatives of both Turkish Airlines (TK) and TAP Air Cargo (TP) to give comment and opinon on how they are coping as airlines and what they expect the future will bring. Of course these are especially difficult times for airlines and we thank them for connecting up….when many airlines were hiding from our requests! Many thanks also to the SCN members for many countries for connecting up on this constructive meeting. Have a look yourselves.

This week, for any of you interested in furthering their knowledge of Maritime Law we’re also pleased to be able to offer a SPECIAL RATE FOR SCN MEMBERS for “Barcelona International Summer School in Maritime Law”. This online couse, from 20th to 24th July, if completed will give you an achievment certification of the City University of London and with the collaboratin of University of Barcelona. We thanks our colleagues and lawyers at Blas de Lezo, Barcelona for the opportunity of special conditions for the course….I’ll be doing it! Hope to see you (on line) there.

Meanwhile, around the network, please also take a look at some of the activity of SCNers this week. Fast Transit (Sri Lanka) are going up in the world, with the new two storey office building in Colombo. Also going up are Yeniay Lojistics (Istanbul, Turkey) who reached 7th position in IATA ranking from Turkey in May. Havener (Dubai, UAE) have also been busy with both their camera and their OOG moves, so you can take a look there and get enthusiastic about your own images. Also take a look at available warehouse space on offer from Air System (Munich, Germany) in the heart of Europe for your logistics needs there
