Hello once more, for a very hot Barcelona

Just a week after announcing to you that we have a new member in Australia, Canada and South Africa (1 Up Cargo – post added again in case you missed it!) we’re very pleased to be able to inform of another new members in the much requested market of Ukraine: Kiy Avia Cargo Ltd joins SCN as our now youngest member giving valuable cover in all aspects of logistics. We also thank our friends at Kras Logistics (Germany, Russia, UK) for the recommendation – sometimes it can be difficult to find a reliable partner in certain markets, and such referrals ensure we maintain high quality of members around the network. Thanks for making the network what it is!

I’d also like to congratulate our Sophie Mancebo for finishing her studies of international commerce – not easy, with the course stopped for Covid-19 half way through (and the rest done with a mask!). Remember I’m also taking advantage of the summer (and lack of beach) by attending “Summer School – Maritime Law“. Places still left if anyone is interested in joining me – on line. I hasten to add that Violeta is also waiting to start a course, also postponed due to Covid-19. Keeping the neurones working all round!

It would, as ever, be good to know what you are all up to this summer (or winter, for those down under) so to help you to show off, our next Cybermeeting is focused precisely on Digital Visibility: Are you being seen?. That’s in a couple of weeks time, on 27th July – so before then, please let us know about your social media and digital visibility, so we can add you’re experiences to the conversation. Personally, I’ve always been one to say, if you want to go out for a run…just do it. No need to tell me how many miles you’ve done later! No need to wear something florescent making you look like you might be about to dig up the road! However, when it comes to digital visibility, maybe we all need to be a bit less shy. Tell us about it on the 27th July or before.

I’d also like to thank all of the members who attended once more the SCN Cybermeeting in Spanish on last Monday. Difficult times in many countries with Covid-19 – easier to cope if we are all together, looking for possibilites. Please sign up to join us, or let us know so we can connect you up to this growing, active sub-group of SCN.

And with visibility in mind, and due to the level of interest from members, we’re extending FREE ASSISTANCE with uploading more info to your profiles on SCN’s web. Please contact Violeta or Sophie in the next week to take them up on the offer. (OK, we’ve never actually charged for helping with this, but never a better moment to connect with them, before we get strange ideas!)

Finally, well done to INS (Guadalajara, Mexico) for winning the 21st Century World Quality Award, 2020, awarded by the Worldwide Marketing Organisation. Congratulations.

I’ll leave you to have a look through some of the details to these posts and others…..before you get those florescent leggings on again!

Enjoy the rest of your week

Member Suspensions: Multihub Logistics Ltd & P.T. Dian Mulia

Please note that the following members have been suspended from Security Cargo Network:
  • P.T. Dian Mulia, INDONESIA
  • Multihub Logistics Ltd, NIGERIA
P.T. Dian Mulia, our very first member, has seen operations affected sharply by Covid-19 and has requested a one year suspension of membership. We hope to see them back soon – as we also hope to see the end of Covid-19 and its economic effects! Multihub Logistics Ltd. is also hopeful that operations will soon increase, but is from now also under suspension. We will inform if their situation changes.
If you have any outstanding matters with them, please let us know.
Operations with these companies are no longer covered by Securityplus!
If you do currently have operations to or from either Nigeria or Indonesia,  please check our members directory on our web page where you will find alternative coverage for your shipments.
