Hello once more

I wonder if you’ll get chance to read this e-mail today. There are not so many in your inbox, right?

I think we’re now into week 520 of lockdown here in Europe and we are starting to get a little used to it…and wonder what life will be like AFTER this all ends.

Luckily, I’m surrounded by SCN members who have their view on that, and we’ll talk about that in our next cyber meeting on 27th April. This follows our very popular web-meetings, now every two weeks, to discuss how we can help each other during these hard times. We would very like these open conversations to be more open and include more points of view from more countries, so please click and join us at a convenient time for you.

Meanwhile round the network, we’re very pleased to see Bati Logistics (Turkey) run their first charter flight from PVG into IST due to the high demand. Let us hope it is the first of many. Please contact them if you’re having trouble getting space (who isnt?!) . We also see that Cargomind (Malaysia), through its GDPMD certification is more ready than ever to handle medical equipment….and never a better time for that! Also ICPI (Philippines) informs us of lengthening quarentine in their country. A reminder for us all to stay safe!

Back at SCN, we’re plesaed that members are starting to add their details on our Country Activity Status so we know whats active during lock down around the world. Please add your info, so we can kee it all up to date. Let us know if you have a status report. Finally, and importantly, these are most difficult times for many companies around the world. Please take a couple of minutes to read our indications on member payments and credit.
