Hello again SCNers

Another week into the summer for all of us up here in the northern hemisphere and for those of you who are so lucky, I hope you’re enjoying your holidays (and hang on, why are you therefore reading the newsletter of SCN??!!) For the rest of us, nose to the grindstone!

So, an interesting week here which started with another of our SCN CYBERMEETINGS, this time focusing in on “Digital Visibility”. Most interesting to hear the very diverse views on social media presence from around the world – its upon us, like it or not, and some useful comments of how best to use it. If any more of you use Linkedin (or Facebook, Insta etc) widely, please let us know so we can share your info. If you’re like me and getting a bit tired of it all….bad luck! Its with us to stay and we should use it efficiently and effectively. We’ll come back and visit this matter again soon.

Also, a big thanks to our Sophie Mancebo and her explanation of how to update profiles on SCN’s web page. I think all members found it much simpler to see on a screen how to access their details and add specialities and more than a simple guide. Please remember that you can contact us at any time to help you out with this.

For those who have not yet attended an SCN Cybermeeting, please give it a go! You can participate as much (or as little) as you want, and its a great way of using an hour to keep in touch with members. We’ll have another in approx 4  weeks (a little longer due to some holiday rotation here) – is there anything you’d like to talk about….?
