Welcome SCNersDear
So, are you “ZOOMED OUT”……or still “ZOOMING IN”?
After generations of parents have told their kids to not spend too much time watching television and screens, here we all are, not travelling and glued to them all ourselves. I’m confident that most of us will soon start to physically meet up and travel as soon as we can – let’s hope that we can get our eyes UNSTUCK from the screens at that time
Meanwhile
If you’re going to have a zoom, webinar or Cybermeeting, you might as well make it interesting! Many thanks to Lars Jensen at SCN’s Cybermeeting for explaining the mysteries of the current mess in container shipping. I’d highly recommend you take a look at the presentation (or the whole debate) when you can so you can explain better to your clients why their goods are late. DON’T simply blame on Covid 19, or say that next month will be better!
More digital events from a couple of our partners next week. LOGIXPORT -Live Demo is here on Tues 2nd of March (at 16.00hrs GMT) for all of you who want to see how they can improve their digital offering to their clients…and we could all do better there, right? Also, on Thurs 4th March, Container Xchange’s webinar provides explanation and keys to improve your container shortage issues. Make sure you register up for those if you want to stay ahead of the game
Among members, a couple of highlights to share with you. GSFS Logistics (Qatar) has sent us photos on some of their recent projects – cars and ‘copters among them. Let them know if you want to move anything in or out of Qatar. Also, Shenzhen Andashun Int (ADS) – China, continue with their most impressive list of air charters out of China, which clearly didn’t even stop for Chinese New Year.
Just wondering….does anyone have any photos of “boring” cargo? Who’s prepared to admit that its often the boring cargo of a brown pallet of goods, or an annonymous container that keeps us all going!
Well, whatever it is, just keep on movin’ it!…….and remember to tell us all about it too
Take care and be safe
