So we’re putting the final touches on the SCN REGIONAL MEETING in Cartagena, Colombia and already getting everything set up for our 2023 ANNUAL CONFERENCE in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Its clear that the most VISIBLE side of SCN networking is going well.
However, there are those of you who maybe dont have much traffic to Latin America, or who don’t usually come to the conferences. Apart from shouting desperately at you, “WHY NOT?” what else is going on?. Although physical events are greatly rewarding and productive, the year has 52 weeks in it, and there is a lot of footwork to do in networking the rest of the year, to make those high points really mean something!
With all of that, its a good time to thank the team!
Sophia
Sophie..keeping all the T’s crossed and I’s dotted
With ever more members wanting to show their profiles in a more visible way, it’s a good job that Sophie is around to keep all the data where it should be. Yes, you can change it all yourself, but who wants to discover how another web site works when there are real humans behind it all!
With more new members coming on line, as well as SCN Trade Exchange and conference registration, its good to have Sophie to sort you all out.
So let her know if you need any help with your profile etc., and make sure you try your best to make her job easy! We’ve not seen her angry with anyone yet, so let’s keep it that way, right SCNers?!!
Tanya
Contact if you’re enthusiastic…or want to be!
Tanya came to an SCN event (In Alella/Barcelona, Spain) and instantly fell in love with the networking we do. Well, that’s at least what I’d like to think! In the last couple of years, she’s managed to inject that Tanya brand of enthusiasm into many members, especially with those in the LATAM region (she’s based in Mexico), probably making all the others very jealous.
If you feel you’re missing out on the enthusiasm of networking, its probably because you haven’t got round to contacting Tanya and telling her about what you’ve been up to or signing up for one of our events – physical or even virtual. So, now you know – Get in contact (unless you’re a bit dull and boring, in which case, we’ll make it up for you)
Arbi
Polishing up some of the images of SCN!
Visual presence is increasingly important, and to offset some of the less attractive parts of the network (I was thinking of myself, not some of the other members), Arbi has just joined us for some of the design work for social media, posts and conference material. Please let us know if you like some of what you see. Some already have and he’s looking into some matters for some members too!. Welcome Arbi!
And while we’re welcoming, please have a look at our posts (a quick read or glance through is fine!) where you’ll see more members joining us. Sea Pioneer in Saudi Arabia and also Cargas Del Plata in Argentina – the first in various members we’ll be seeing in Latin America.
I’ll leave you to have a look through, wonder why YOUR company isnt there….and then get off to make coffee for the SCN team!
