31st October, 2019
Hello again
So, it is a week to wish you Happy Diwali (and eat gulab jamun & Kheer) or maybe Happy Halloween (and trick or treat to bags of sweets)…or whatever you may celebrate, but may it be a good excuse to bring people and families together wherever – however spiritual or trivial the excuse may be.
And its good to see some early registrations for our next conference in Bangkok (March 2020). Taking advantage of the early bird registration (and to get their name up early.) Watch out next week for more news on the “SCN Chat and Chill Weekend”, for those who want to make the most of the trip to Thailand

So, as it is a week of bringing together, its good to be able to confirm I’ll be in Intermodal next week. Very interested to hear from you if you’ll be around in Hamburg so we can catch up.
It is also a week which starts the Asian tour of “Skyscraper” the Bruges Whale as it arrives in Singapore. Very interested in hearing from you if you would like to support our efforts to combat plastic waste in oceans through campaigns of our partners, Ocean Recovery Alliance.
And coinciding with that, interesting to read from Australia of a new focus from customs there, following the sting bugs, it is now health snails that are causing the problems – or maybe its the humans causing the problems again and the authorities protecting a longer term.
I’ll leave you to catch up with the posts.
Enjoy the rest of your week and hope to see you soon (if you’re in Hamburg..!)
Note that many countries take 1st November as a public holiday…Spain being one of them
Have a good one!
