Last week, I was asking you all if you felt “zoomed out” with an accumulation of video convrsations during your working day. I fully appreciate that at the end of the day, possibly the last thing that you want instead of some family time is another zoom with logistics people – but that might be the best we can do instead of travelling, so we might as well make it varied!
After the success of last week’s SCN cybermeeting, we’re pleased to confirm that our increasingly active group of Latin American members will be exchanging opinions with Evergreen Marine Corp in Spanish next week, in a new opportunity to understand better the current situation with one of the players. All welcome (noting the conversation will be in Spanish) next Wednesday 10th March – Cybermeeting en Español
We’re also setting up our next debate – please let us know if you have contacts with AIRLINE COMPANIES who would like to join us later in the month – 24th March. Please contact us to make the debate a richer event for all.
As for members, we are pleased to share news in two posts. Firstly, The Regency Express informs of their merger with Richmond Global Freight Co, Hong Kong. We are pleased to be able to support this growth, noting that the merged company will operate under The Regency in Taiwan and China. We are also pleased to share with you yet another member to member success story between Yeniay Logistics (Turkey) & Seven Ocean Logistics (Oman).
Also, a quick reminder call out for our partner in SOC shipments, xChange Container, who tomorrow have a webinar on “Better Decision Making in Times of Container Shortage“. A key aspect of container traffic these days, which by shifting to SOC, you can look to solve or at least improve.
