So, what’s with all the shipping lines?

I would very much have liked to now be able to confirm that between SCN and at least one of the members, we have a good enough relationship with shipping lines for them to jump at the opportunity to come and discuss how the market is developing with their clients. Its a sad day when it is of so little interest to lines that they don’t want to understand their clients….if any change their mind, the door is open at SCN to share opinions.

That said, we are very fortunate to be able to confirm that Lars Jensen (CEO of Sea Intelligence) to give us some current analysis of the situation….and of course to listen to what the SCNers have to say. Meanwhile, have a look at some of the other activity of SCN members, including World War II planes being moved by Custodia Freight (Pasadena, USA). Also a water treatment plant to Namibia from New Globe (Mumbai, India) . Also, we’re very pleased to have been able to zoom into Tranexteint (Quito, Ecuador) to learn more of their focuses. Let us know if you want to tell us about yours!

Finally, let us not forget the moments we are living with another couple of posts. “Man in the Middle” fraud (MITM) has raised its ugly head again between members. Remember to be careful with any changes in payment instructions. Give them a call if in doubt. Also, remember that in these difficult times you are covered for default and bankruptcy by Securityplus! but importantly, this DOES NOT COVER YOU if you have made a payment due to e-mail intervention and MITM fraud. In difficult times, there are always others after your hard earned money – be careful
