In the news this week, SCNers...Dear SCNer
New blood..! I’m not sure if that sounds exciting or a little scary. Maybe the debate should be if you are looking for solid, strong, long-term relationships with otehr SCN members, or if you are adaptable and flexible for all new possibilities. What we TRY to do as a network is understand that everyone works with everyone and give more possibilites to each and every member…..while at the same time keep the collaborative spirit close allowing for more TRUST to develop.
This week, we’re very pleased to welcome some new branches. Further coverage of Norman Krieger International on the west coast of the USA (with an added wink at Cross-boarder shipments to Mexico). Also showing further expansion is WTO (World Transport Overseas) with their Piraeus office expanding their coverage. We’re also very pleased to welcome an enthusiastic new member to Korea, Dual Air & Sea. We look forward to hearing of success stories from them and other members. Remember these are all potential partners for you with some type of shipment. Why not say a quick hello?
We’re also asking for your voice at the next SCN Cybermeeting: TAKING OFF – Airfreight Data (and what it all means for YOU). Register if you have not done so before, especially if you are interested in airfrieght data, rates and what’s happening with them. Thanks to our partner WEBCARGO for giving us food for thought on airfreight data, which they have a LOT of! Does anyone know any airlines who would like to share their opinions?..
We can also not take our eyes off the war in Ukraine and the suffering being generated there. We are very pleased to let you know that our Ukraine member, Kiy Avia, is still going strong despite the difficulties. This week, we will also be making a statement about shipments with Russia and SCN’s limitation on coverage. If you have current shipments, please let us know.
Enjoy the rest of your week…..and please stay in touch!
