Hello again SCNers
Something for everyone in this weeks news, as we cruise towards CNY. The Year of the RAT is almost upon us and after some extensive research with SCN members (??) we have learnt that this will be a good year for SCN!
People born in the year of rat are generally born with the zodiac rat characteristics. Though people consider the rat not adorable, and it even makes its way into derogatory languages, it ranks first on the Chinese zodiac signs. It has characteristics of an animal with spirit, wit, alertness, delicacy, flexibility and vitality.
As this coincides exactly with new member entry requirements of SCN members, it will surely be a good year for the network!
Please note that most members in China (and some other parts of Asia) will of course be arranging last minute urgencies this week and away from the office next week, patience is requested.

We’re getting closer and closer to our conference, so make sure you don’t miss out and get registered, get your flight sorted out, and get invovled. Thanks to many members who already have, although we know there are many who have not done so yet. Some more details regarding the scheduler below
In this week’s newsletter, apart from conference details, a warning of care from Best Logistics (Canary Islands, Spain), Brexit update from Wallis (Colchester, UK) plus news on activity from Sedres (Saudi Arabia), BSI (China) and awards for New Globe (India).
I’ll leave you with those members’ news and a quick reminder to contact us if you operate your own service of LCL, LTL or air consol. We’re interested in sharing your route details. More on that soon when we launch our new feature
Have a great week!….and remember to stay in touch
