A week of looking back and looking ahead.
Curious to now read an article written about SCN’s founder and the values of the network 19 years ago. Even though I wasn’t even aware of the network’s existance until a year later, its curious to see the point of interest of the network at that time. Looks like we were all enjoying our first e-mails and mailing services…..not like now! (says I, whilst sending you ANOTHER e-mail)
Now we are all looking to see how we can use this mass of data and connectivity to good use without sinking below it all. Here at SCN we’re starting to see some interesting trends in our web’s use and we’ll be expanding on that shortly. (“shortly”, as defined by anyone working in IT can be a slightly flexible term!)
More than that, we’re intereste in what YOU’RE doing to integrate. Being local and focused is excellent, but we all know that global challenges is the order of the day in our industry, so we’re either acting, connecting and INTEGRATING globally, or we’re probably on a downhill slide.
Wouldn’t you say that we all want to experience a flawless and smooth digital experience yet have knowledgable HUMANS behind it all that you can contact? I’d say that’s the future for independant freight forwarders and of course SCNers around the world.
