Hello again

So, where’s MY vote? No need to wonder if its being counted or not as I didn’t get one. OK. I admit i’m not American (some may have noticed), but as their elections clearly affect me and the rest of you, shouldn’t I at least get HALF a vote? Not too sure who decides where I’d put it, but we can worry about that later…

As USA is counting, once more a warning of FRAUD. Well done to Aimat Logistics (Seoul, Korea) for spotting a strange twist in communications and also a very slight adjustment of an e-mail’s domain. This avoided a large sum of money being incorrectly transfered to a fraudulent bank account. A reminder for us ALL to be wary of such changes.

On a much brighter note, WELCOME TO UNIVERSAL FREIGHT SYSTEM (Nairobi, Kenya) as our newest member of the the network. Ready to help you out for any inquiries for Kenya or other parts of Eastern Africa. Below you can also see a round up of October’s new members, in case you have missed any of them in earlier posts and newsletters. Maybe not as new, but certainly of the most enthusiastic members, we also caught up with Vangard Logistics (Chennai, India) to see what our eternally enthusiastic friend Kumaran has been up to – and explain a little of what we hope to do soon. Thanks again for your time!

Also linking up by video were many members on our recent SCN Cybermeeting: Branching Out.. Most interesting debate and conversation between some great monds once more, this time on how, where and in what mode to consider opening up new branches. Great to think forward positively in these difficult times for many.

We also had some debate on the acceptance of video calls with clients. Like it or not, it seems to be here to stay, so lets not forget the forthcoming SCN VIRTUAL CONFERENCE EVENT next 3rd December. Focused on ONE-TO-ONE meetings for members, we will also have some time to discuss forwarding concerns and also take a look at the booths of members and partners who have additional information to share with you. There is still time for early bird discount until tomorrow……are you with us?
