The calm after the storm….or is it?
If networking were just about going to the conference and then sitting back to see all fall into place, then we might as well just spend the whole year with back to back conferences! This year, with many of the conferences coincinding in location (mainly Thailand) and dates (Sept/Oct ’22) it may feel for a lot of you that you’ve been doing exactly that over the last couple of months!
So as you “dry out” and wonder which draw to put in all of those business cards you collected, its probably a good time to try to see what we can make of if all. Do you put all those contacts behind you & get back to your “real job” of moving stuff around the globe – OR – shall we try and develop on what was discussed and make those seeds grow into trees and projects?
Yes, we know there is intrigue in finding out where we’re going next – but let’s develop some of the strong ideas and projects that we have now started by coming together and seeing which one fits into YOUR agenda at this time, and which you can take a spectator’s view to see how it develops. It kind of makes it worth having flown half way round the world to meet up! The bilateral agreements between agents will still go on, and we’ll give you more time to get together next year….but at SCN we like to think of the BIGGER picture of networking while you keep those member-to-member conversations going at the pace that suits you.
