21st October, 2020
Hello again from SCN
So, how are you today?…..no, really! How are you feeling? As Covid-19 continues on, and on, and on…there has never been a better moment to try and reflect on how you are, and more importantly, your colleages, agents, suppliers and friends – not forgetting their families. It is easy to get caught up in your immediate concerns – so when a contact gives an out of place reply, give some thought to what others are going through in these times of economic, health and personally difficult times.
At SCN, we are currently fortunate that our “family” continues to grow as more companies we have had contact with wants to join the security of our network. After MTTM of Myanmar joined us last week, this week we’re very pleased to welcome three more newly screened companies into our network: Freightways (Islamabad, Pakistan), JRC Logistics (Guam & Saipan) and also Fantastic Logistics (Shenzhen, China). To all three….to make it work positively for you and all, time to roll up the sleeves!
As often happens, these new members are generally from previous contacts and referals, ensuring good initial contact for new members and a solid network for all of you at SCN. Let us know if you work with a forwarder who you think would add to SCN’s strength.
And to network and connect up more with you, we also had a very productive meeting with Leadership Freight Group, as they gave us more details on their background and strengths. Thanks for your time guys!…glad to learn more about you, your group and your activity.
We also look forward to networking with all of you at the next Cybermeeting on 28th October. We want to look ahead on how you have been expanding into new markets and what you think is the best method for a forwarder. There’s no one correct answers, so join us to comment on the pros and cons of different strategies.
And lets not forget our SCN Virtual Networking Day. Time to register if you want to qualify for the early bird discount and later spend some time connecting up to your network members
Take a look too at news form another couple of members: Kras Logistics (Germany, UK, Russia) who is NOT just doing AOG aircraft engines and also New Globe (Mumbai, India) who have wanted to share some of their activity. Feel free to do the same and share your activity with us, assuming your active. We all know what short memories forwarders have for good stories – tending to dedicate memory power to remember the time something went wrong!
Enjoy the rest of your week….and remember to connect up and take care of those around you….and failing that, just give me a call 😉
