In the news this week, SCNers...Dear SCNer
Another week of tension as the war on Ukraine continues.
SCN has been asked from different sources to make a statement to stop working with all Russian companies until hostilities have ended. Although such a trade prohibition is understandable, this can also generate irreparable dammage to businesses and people who are against the war on both sides, whilst making little difference to aggresor politicians. We firmly believe that TRADE and COLLABORATION are needed more than ever, to allow a grass roots movement against imperialistic tendancies. If only we could be governed by the laws of trade, where we come together to reach an agreement, instead of being polarized by politicians and pulled apart.
We are pleased to be able to look forward to another SCN Cybermeeting this week. Two meetings (at a time that suits you) in ENGLISH with Lars Jensen and another meeting in Spanish with shipping line ONE. We are glad to be able to bring minds together to present ideas and allow members to share their views. Make sure you REGISTER for the meetings….FREE….BRING A FRIEND…SHARE YOUR VIEWS
We are also pleased to present a new member in HONDURAS, as Enlace joins our community and a new partner as Tive brings new tracking and security to your goods. There is also news from our recently enrolled member Mc Trans in Southern Switzerland and a chance to solve your container shortages with Container xChange.
For those who missed Kras Logistics statement on the situation in Russia, we strongly believe it is important you read their words. Also thanks once more to Alfa Forwarding for their show of humanity.
Thank you for being part of the SCN community. Please make your little grain of sand of your world count!
