We’re pleased to welcome Jameel to the SCN team.
Jameel joins SCN as part of our continued growth in the region and will be taking care of our Dubai office, supporting our members and strengthening connections across this key logistics hub.
Jameel is well know to almost all the SCN Community following 20 years of networking with SCN. He has now taken a step back from his forwarding company to focus on networking in a full time position with us.
With his role based in Dubai, Jameel will focus on building relationships, enhancing collaboration within the network, and serving as a direct point of contact for members in the regions of Arabian Gulf, Indian Sub Continent, CIS and beyond.
A Little bit about Jameel:
“I am a natural people‑person with an instinct for building connections, making my path into global networking almost inevitable. Born and raised in India before moving to the UAE, I have spent decades in the shipping and freight forwarding industry, developing a deep understanding of international trade and cross‑cultural collaboration. With a family heritage that spans Belgian, Vietnamese, and English backgrounds, I blend easily into diverse environments and bring a global mindset to every partnership I build. Outside the office, I am driven by a love for the outdoors — having sailed across the Atlantic, climbed in Nepal, and rowed at the World Masters. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and backed by extensive experience in supply chain management, I am committed to help SCN members form strong, reliable partnerships across Africa, Asia, and beyond.”
