1UP Cargo Moves 152.8 Tonnes of Mining Equipment from Australia to the Philippines
Some shipments move cargo. Others move industries.
SCN member 1UP Cargo successfully managed a complex multi-shipment Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) project, moving oversized mining equipment from Fremantle, Australia, to Bauan Port, Philippines, in collaboration with its strategic partner in Singapore.
The project involved four specialized RORO sailings, transporting a total of 152,788 kg (152.8 tonnes) of project cargo across 465.71 cubic metres.
The shipments included rebuilt underground mining equipment, wheel loaders, and heavy drilling machinery, each requiring detailed planning, technical expertise, and precise coordination to meet strict vessel schedules.

A standout achievement came with the final shipment. After receiving confirmation on 14 July, 1UP Cargo successfully coordinated the cargo loading just three days later, on 17 July — an impressive turnaround for specialized project cargo.
From origin handling in Australia through to successful discharge at Bauan Port, every shipment was managed safely, seamlessly, and on schedule.
This project demonstrates 1UP Cargo’s expertise in handling complex and high-value project cargo, combining operational excellence, trusted partnerships, and speed to deliver reliable results when precision matters most.
Congratulations to 1UP Cargo on another successful project!
