Thinking &Transporting “Outside the box”
Recently, UNI-EXPRESS LOGISTICS SDN BHD, together with our fellow SCM member, FTS International Express, successfully handled the sea export movement of a steel mould from Port Klang, Malaysia, to multiple destinations in the United States, including Blythewood, Charleston, Houston, Los Angeles, Chicago and Norfolk.
Measuring 9,600 mm × 3,500 mm × 3,500 mm and weighing 8,000 kg, this was no ordinary shipment. Due to its exceptional dimensions and weight, the cargo required careful planning and was transported using a 40-foot flat rack.
From the initial coordination to the final sailing arrangement, every detail mattered. Through strong teamwork and close collaboration, the shipment was completed on time and dispatched as scheduled, resulting in a satisfied customer and another successful project for our team.
For us, every challenging shipment is more than just cargo in transit. It is an opportunity to think differently, work smarter and deliver with confidence.
