SCN is pleased to share a recent project cargo success executed by our member Airsea Forwarders India Pvt Ltd, showcasing strong expertise in handling complex and oversized shipments.
The team successfully managed two heavy pump units loaded on Flat Rack containers, transported from India to Morocco, with final delivery at the ports of Casablanca and Tanger Med.
Each unit measured 1097 x 274 x 304 cms, requiring detailed pre-planning, container suitability assessments, precise weight distribution, and secure lashing — all carried out in strict compliance with carrier and port safety regulations. Given the scale and nature of the cargo, flawless coordination and execution were critical at every stage.
From port coordination to on-ground execution, the project cargo team in Mumbai ensured a safe, stable, and schedule-driven operation, reinforcing their capability in managing oversized, heavy, and non-standard cargo movements.
