It is always a pleasure to see SCN members successfully completing a complex break bulk project, but when we are able to see two different SCN members collaborating on all steps from door to door from their different markets, it requires us all to take a note of the accomplishment.
Our congratulations to Fast Transit Logistics (Colombo Sri Lanka) and Transport Project and Logistics-TPL (Antwerp, Sri Lanka) for effectively and efficiently handling a project shipment from France to Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The shipment consisted of 2 silos shipped from France via Antwerp and then onto Colombo Sri Lanka
- 2 x silo ex France.
- 1 unit/5200 KGS, 1 silo 21,504M x 3,56M x 3,783M
- 1 unit/5200 KGS, 1 silo 21,502M x 3,529M x 3,495M
The initial plan was to send from France to Sri Lanka, but due to vessel issues and a very strict deadline of the client, the shipment plan was adjusted to send via Antwerp, where TPL received and embarked the silos onto Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The silos and accompanying containers all arrived at the consignee safely and timely giving another satisfied customer.
