With reference to the recent situation in Myanmar, this communication is being made to keep you all updated on the latest developments within Logistics.
Overall, the port and logistics infrastructure are back to business as usual, with additional positive progress on those highlight subjects.
IT Connectivity: All our offices and sites are back online, call centre is in operating as business usual.
Ports: The terminals are working normally. Our vessel operations are expected to go as per scheduled
Customs: Customs clearance overall back to business as usual today.
Bank: processes are slow due to capacity issues since they opened only yesterday
Warehousing & Trucking services: Our warehouse functioned smoothly, operations expected to continue normally in coming days. No truck shortages have been faced.
Depots: Business as usual
Air Freight: Airports opened last night for relief flights and cargo operation. However. Operations is slow and we have ready land Air and Sea Air products for our customers
Our Business Resilience Plan is in motion and we will continue to work tirelessly to provide timely information to you and also ensure we continue to jointly work with external stakeholders for business continuity.
