In the news this week, SCNers...Dear SCNer
If we’re here to try and promote some more connections, dialogue, collaborations and ultimately trust, it seems like it’s been an excellent week. This week we “stumbled on” details of very wide collaboration of one member, Norman Krieger International, who has created themselves a whole network within SCN for themselves for a global account. The pleasing part is seeing how years of contacts have led to solid partnerships and, most importantly, a very satisfied client. Instead of the client hitting his head against the “brick wall” of multinational customer service, SCN members are giving great service…..many thanks to all of you involved with that project!
Also important to us is getting everyone together to share understanding and experiences so that we can better inform our clients. We’re doing that next week with our next SCN Cybermeeting – if you haven’t tried them before, give them a go – free to join and the conversation you become part of means those 45 mins (approx) are very well spent. Next week, we turn our eye to AIR FREIGHT and what the data behind it can tell us about the rates
Looking further afield, you can now register for our SCN Conference in BKK in October! We already have a lot of attendees – so don’t hesitate in adding your name to them.
And while we’re talking about getting together, remember that there are some members who will be in Breakbulk Rotterdam in May. Please let us know if you too will be there, so we can arrange meeting up.
