Please be noted for the upcoming holiday in China.

The China National holiday takes place from October 1 to October 7 in China and on October 1 in Hong Kong SAR.

For Shanghai transportation, please note that the Shanghai local Government has issued traffic control on September 30 from 16:30 with restrictions of traffic for specific areas.

AIRFREIGHT:
General document cut-off time before the holiday is September 30.
Terminal gate-in is based on flight time, usually four days before ETD.
Planed and booked shipments in process. For new bookings of more oversized loads to be arranged after the holiday.

Hong Kong needs advance booking to handle, have staff and customs on duty for October 1.

RAIL SERVICE:
Customs departments handling is closed during the holiday for clearance handling. General gate-in is ETD minus three days.

Schedule for Rail Service resume operations after the National Holiday.
FCL ETD October 13 to Hamburg and North Europe destinations

Container cut off at departure station around October 8 with required loading at Shanghai/Ningbo/Guangdong area no later than September 29

LCL ETD October 19 to Hamburg and North Europe destinations
Cargo cut off at departure station – October 12
Booking deadline September 29

OCEAN SERVICE:
Local cargo and clearance handling, to be completed by September 29. Many delays of FCL schedules by carriers, will impact the cut-offs.
The local NGL teams will work ongoing for servicing and arrangements.

After and during the holiday, several blank sailings have been announced by carriers.

FCL:
With numerous delays by carriers of planned schedules, the cut-off day is updated by the carrier individually for each sailing. The Standard cut-off is five days before ETD.

LCL:
Document cut-off for the last sailing before October 1 is September 29, with CFS cut-off on September 30.

XIAMEN – 
FCL During holiday:

ETD XMN: October 8
S.I. and Customs closing: October 6 (Customs on duty date)

Scandinavia destinations
ETD XMN: October 6
S.I. cut off September 30
Customs Closing: October 4 (Customs on duty date)

Document cut-off September 30.
The terminal cut-off is based on ETD, normally 3~4days before ETD.
Terminals keep 24hours working during the holiday.

Document cut-off time 30/Sep.
CFS cut-off time is based on ETD, only allow gate-in 6days before ETD.

ELECTRICITY SHORTAGE

At least ten Chinese provinces have faced reduced or cut power supply this month. This is because the government has implemented power cuts to curb carbon emissions.

Affected provinces include Jiangsu, Guangdong, and Zhejiang.
The main ports in these areas are Ningbo, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Yantian.
