Once more, we’re glad to talk about another success story between two of our SCN Members: Axis Worldwide, from USA and Overseas Logistics from Chile.
Axis Worldwide, a specialist in the hotel and hospitality industry needed some fast help from Chile and found a solution in Overseas!
“David, as you are aware, Axis Worldwide is active in the hospitality industry providing logistics and supply chain solutions for both new construction and remodel projects. We recently acquired a new customer with urgent shipping needs from Chile to China. This project was quite large and included multiple parties that were involved in directing and coordinating the production and shipment of the goods. The situation was further complicated by the fact that not all of the items were ready to ship on time, which caused desperate phone calls and high stress levels.
We are thankful that the experienced professionals at Overseas Logistics Chile, S.A. were available to us via Security Cargo Network and willing to take up the challenge. The team at Overseas Logistics was able to not only secure quite competitive freight rates in a very tight airfreight market, but they obtained space and prompt loading for our multiple air freight shipments that were quite substantial in both weight and volume.
