We’re glad to talk about the shipment that brought Ex works from Germany and delivered to the National Institute of Ocean Technology our Indian member: Unitech Shipping Services.
Its even better when, following the shipment, Raj of Unitech writes to us to extend his thanks to the support given by the origin agent, in this case Kras Logistics in Germany.
The cargo consisted of glass spheres which float in the ocean for research and development, that needed to be handled with care. They got this ex works shipment done through our SCN member Kras logistics. Total 19 pallets 5350 kgs by airfreight from Germany to Chennai door to door.
NIOT (National Institute of Ocean Technology), are constantly doing research and development work. Their customer is their Vendor.

Cargo being VITROVEX Deep Sea Floatation Sphere with accessories and made of glass Shipper informed us that the cargo was non stackable and the rate went up. But Kras was very effective in offering a good rate to move this on a single layer without stacking the cargo and was delivered safely by EAT DHL airline. Good support by Kras Logistics”
