Vegamar and ICAT Drive Automotive Logistics Success

How “American” is your American Car?

At SCN, we are always pleased to see members collaborating across borders to deliver reliable logistics solutions. This time, we would like to highlight a successful cooperation between Vegamar, Spain, and ICAT Logistics, USA.

Vegamar recently handled a shipment of automotive spare parts from Turkey to the United States on behalf of ICAT Logistics. While these components may not be the type of cargo that grabs headlines, they play a vital role in keeping supply chains moving and industries running.

As Vegamar humorously noted, “Maybe that American car is not 100% American if it has parts from Turkey, but we very much enjoy being part of the multinational collaboration that makes it up.” This shipment is another great example of how international partnerships and trusted logistics providers work together to support global manufacturing.

The logistics industry is often associated with luxury vehicles, oversized projects, or eye-catching cargo. However, the reality is that the vast majority of shipments are the essential parts, products, and materials that businesses rely on every day. As Vegamar puts it: “No sexy red Ferrari to ship for you today.” Yet every shipment, regardless of size or glamour, deserves the same attention, care, and professionalism.

SCN congratulates both Vegamar and ICAT Logistics on this successful cooperation and thanks them for demonstrating the value of trust, teamwork, and global connectivity within our network.
