It is always a pleasure to catch up with old friends and this week we’ve been lucky for Merzario to squeeze half an hour into their schedule to catch up and let us learn what’s going on in their offices in Holland and Germany
Busy times in Amsterdam, as Merzario’s airfreight dept has moved into new offices to better serve clientes. This follows the move last year when the ocean freight dept moved into new offices in 
Rotterdam. More changes with a new CEO to the company further strengthening, particularly the ocean freight aspect of the company.
…and to keep it all running, cargo figures continue. Despite the global slow-down, ocean freight figures remain at pre-covid levels and airfreight have shown only a slight reduction. So with that and the new facilities, ready for the post Covid 19 times!
We are also pleased to an increasing presence of Merzario Germany, with the offices in Bremen and Hamburg both registered SCN members and fully aware of the benefits of SCN and the community we have around the world.
Merzario also counts on their own offices in London, UK as well as their many offices in Asia: Hong Kong, Vietnam, and five offices in China. ALl offices are linked together by SCN’s partner for IT: Cargowise. Merzario confirms that this gives them smooth coordination between offices and a significant time saving on each file.
