What started as an interest by SCN and its members in covering more countries and regions ended in a highly successful meeting between logistics professionals located in the CIS and Caucasus region and others interested in developing business there. NOT just a region to pass through, fly over or ignore, but an increasingly important emerging market for us all to take interest in

It was also good to see other members (Air Cargo Azerbaijan, Blue Axis UAE, Holship Lithuania, Bati Turkey & Gezairi) and some newer members (MCF Kazakhstan, SG Logistics Azerbaijan..) participating in the conversation and presentations so we could all get to know better the possibilities in the region. We hope to see some of the other attendees from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan & Latvia joining us shortly.
Tbilisi City Tour
The meeting started with a relaxed look at the city of Tbilisi so we could learn a little of the city and what to think of those carrying wine and swords (!)

The following day was meeting day, with time for members and potential members alike to share information on their companies and the region – and of course for us to explain how SCN can promote networking between them for mutual benefit
Georgian Dinner
Once more, vast amounts of excellent food, as well as a cultural treat finished the meeting with a Georgian dinner for attendees. Thanks once more to Lasare and Megrex for your hospitality.
In conclusion, a very successful event, allowing for more collaboration as SCN grows most where it is needed promoting new members to join us so we can give professional support and coverage to shipments globally.
