Many thanks to all who connected in to hear about developments of our annual conference through our SCN CYBERMEETINGS. In case any of you have not heard yet, we have been forced to further delay the conference from September 2020 until March 2021 due to the continued problems with Covid-19. Although our hotel will be open in September, it is clear that insufficient members will be able to get to Bangkok safely to warrant a meeting
The conference will now take place between 16th and 19th March, 2021
Also a very special thanks to Shelly Watkowski and Chef Michael of Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Bangkok for attending the cybermeeting and explaining the measures being taken in the hotel.We can now be sure we’re in safe hands, and with the protocols in place, to guarantee our confidence for an exceptional conference. ..even if we do have to wait for that to happen.
We also touched on the matter of virtual conferences – although its clear that almost everyone is enthusiastic about the face to face contacts that our conferences represent.
